The Story of END X
Without question, the Bible contains the most influential writings in all of human history. Encompassing the story from the beginning of creation to the end of the age, the Bible stands as an unredacted record of mankind’s incredible journey with God from perfect union to profound rebellion, before the coming day of the Lord. From Genesis to the book of Revelation, the stories, historical accounts, and divine words of God have shaped the entire human experience, established the building blocks of free societies and fundamental human rights, and provided the cornerstone for all civilization. And yet this powerful, mysterious, divinely inspired account, which exposes the hearts and minds of mankind and spiritual forces, still has so much more to say.
Its words explain that we are all on a journey, both collectively and as individuals. It reminds us of the sanctity, fragility, and eternal aspects of life, and that without God’s redemptive power, our finite human experience is all but certain to result in devastation, death, and sobering accountability. The prophecies of Scripture were written down with a purpose. They come to us in the form of past declarations and their historical fulfilments, the foretelling of future events, God’s promises and His judgements, acting as a testimony to the consequences of our choices.
The Bible is clear: the world is heading towards Armageddon, and nothing will change this. Scripture specifies a sequence of events that will accelerate and become more visible as we approach this destination, shouting a clear warning to anyone who has an ear to hear.
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”
Revelation 2:11
This project is designed to declare the biblical world view that Jesus Christ, who was raised from the dead God’s heir and chosen king above all creation, will return to earth in person to bring judgement and to establish God’s government – and that this will occur much sooner than most realise. Please understand that His appearance has dramatic implications for your life now, and forever. The Bible, which is not by chance the most widely translated and distributed text in all human history, testifies to this reality.
This is the story of END X; this is the story of the End Times.
“And he said to me, Do not seal the Words of the prophecy of this Book; for the time is at hand.”
Revelation 22:10
“But take heed; behold, I have told you all things beforehand.”
Mark 13:23
END X Overview
The ancient Jewish scriptures accurately envisioned the state of affairs in the world today and many significant events of our age. However, a majority of the most consequential events are yet to happen on our journey towards Armageddon. With one scenario building upon another, Scripture provides an intricate woven tapestry of specific time periods, locations, and individuals. It begins with a timeline of human kingdoms but ends with sequential one-time events occurring in precise locations (which are not yet realized), executed by specific people (who have not yet risen to power). The prime objective of this project, however, is not to forecast events but to raise awareness that we are heading towards a destination that will conclude the known human experience – a destination that we call Armageddon: Return of the Christ.
In fact, Scripture offers hundreds of specific details about the lead-up to this event. Some are general in nature, helping to pinpoint the age, while others are time-sensitive, sequential, and finely knit together. To understand these details, it’s vital to first grasp the larger context with a biblical overview of the last-days scenario. Focusing on the big picture elements, the book of Revelation in chapter 13 reveals how the global political, religious, and economic systems will be working in tandem at least 3.5 years (Revelation 13:5) before the battle of Armageddon [see previous sections].
– The Beast from the Sea –
“1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marvelled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” 5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
– The Beast from the Earth –
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
– The Mark of the Beast –
16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.”
Revelation Chapter 13
This comprehensive regime of “governance” is a glimpse into the future of the geopolitical landscape now being shaped before our eyes, propelled by authoritarian mandates, international conflicts and increased social segregation. Understanding our destination raises critical awareness as the time draws near by revealing how recent and developing trends will step us closer towards it.
END X Sequence of Events
By way of a final countdown to Armageddon, biblical texts specify a definitive 7-year period – a “week” of years – giving special emphasis to the midpoint and the final 3.5-year duration. The start of this 7-year timeframe is marked by an apparent peace treaty involving Israel and surrounding nations, including those who identify as Palestinians, brokered by the international community. Specifically, the treaty will involve the primary political leader from the European continent, whose identity is officially revealed at the midpoint of the 7 years in the reconstructed temple in Jerusalem (2 Thessalonians 2:3). The empowerment of global government, aided by religion and enforced through economics, is a precursor to these events; the unprecedented reach and influence of global structures will enable the transitions that are essential to the final 7-year countdown described in Daniel 9:27, culminating in Armageddon.
As highlighted in the scriptures below, the Bible gives special attention to the final 3.5 years before the return of Christ, commonly referred to as the “great tribulation”. This period is directly referenced more than seven times (and indirectly considerably more). It is clearly defined in days, months, and years, and the scriptural context for each reference provides a slightly different vantage point that yields extra detail about what is to come in these final years.
The Final 3.5 Years
“And he [Antichrist] shall confirm a covenant with many for one week [7-years]. And in the midst of the week [3.5-years] he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and on a corner of the altar desolating abominations, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall be poured on the desolator.”
Daniel 9:27
“And he [Antichrist] shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and plot to change times and laws. And they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and one-half time [3.5-years].”
Daniel 7:25
“And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was on the waters of the river, when he held up his right and his left hand to Heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half [3.5-years]. And when they have made an end of scattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.”
Daniel 12:7
“But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it was given to the nations. And they will trample the holy city forty-two months [3.5-years]. And I will give power to My two witnesses, and they will prophesy a thousand, two hundred and sixty days [3.5-years], clothed in sackcloth.”
Revelation 11:2-3
“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared by God, so that they might nourish her there a thousand, two hundred and sixty days [3.5-years].”
Revelation 12:6
“And two wings of a great eagle [USA?] were given to the woman [Israel], so that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time [3.5-years], from the serpent’s face.”
Revelation 12:14
“And a mouth [Antichrist] speaking great things was given to it, and blasphemies. And authority was given to it to continue forty-two months [3.5-years].”
Revelation 13:5
“And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the desolating abomination set up, a thousand two hundred and ninety days [3.5-years+30-days] shall occur. Blessed is he who waits and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days [3.5-years+75-days].”
Daniel 12:11-12
Events of this period are also referenced elsewhere in Scripture, including Jesus’ own warning in Matthew 24.
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all nations. And then the end shall come. Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand).”
Matthew 24:14-15
“Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin [Antichrist] shall be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.”
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
“And forces will stand from him [Antichrist], and they will profane the sanctuary [temple], the fortress, and shall remove the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the desolating abomination.”
Daniel 11:13
“…And he said to me, these are the ones who came out of the great tribulation and have washed their robes, and have whitened them in the blood of the Lamb.”
Revelation 7:14
“And they overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”
Revelation 12:11
The great tribulation, as we are told in no uncertain terms, will be unlike any other time in human history. This relatively short but intense timeframe represents the dragon’s (Satan’s) last-ditch effort to deceive the world and gain its allegiance as his kingdom nears its end.
“Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and those tabernacling in them. Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and in the sea! For the Devil came down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a little time. And when the dragon saw that he was cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman [Israel] who bore the man child [Jesus]. And two wings of a great eagle were given to the woman [Israel], so that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time [3.5-years], from the serpent’s face.”
Revelation 12:12-14
As implied in Matthew 24:15-16, the great tribulation will be initiated by the abomination of desolation, in Jerusalem on the temple mount. When this event occurs, Jesus instructs the Jewish settlers living in Judea, or in modern terms the West Bank, to immediately flee. This indicates that the great tribulation will begin in Judea before expanding globally against Christ’s followers. Israel proper, however, will initially be protected and thwart Satan’s wrath – foreshadowing a future attempt to destroy Israel 3.5 years later at the battle of Armageddon.
“And the serpent [Satan] cast out of his mouth water like a flood after the woman [Israel], so that he might cause her to be carried away by the river. And the earth helped the woman. And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
Revelation 12:15-17

END X Biblical Scenario
In the beginning , God created the heavens and the earth and all that is on the earth. God once walked with mankind in perfect love and harmony, until mankind’s disobedience put all of creation under the bondage of sin and death. Through the ages God unfolded His plan of redemption, fulfilling the requirement of His justice by condemning sin in the flesh through the death of Jesus Christ and subsequently raising Him victorious, confirming Him the rightful king of the world and the “firstborn among many brethren” (Romans 8:29). In the end, Jesus will once again walk among His creation. He will manifest what is “finished”, restore what is “lost”, resurrect what is “dead”.
“And He said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give of the fountain of the Water of Life freely. He who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.”
Revelation 21:6-7
The coming of God in His kingdom has long been anticipated through history and in Scripture. The prophetic passages that foretell dramatic events leading to judgement also clearly look forward to the establishment of God’s government on earth and the ultimate restoration of all things. The end of human reign is quickly approaching – Scripture’s testimony calling to those who will listen.
As the biblical “birth pains” forecast the dawn of a new age, an increase of natural and contrived events on the earth and in the heavens will act as catalysts for the END X outcomes described in Revelation 13. Under a globally coordinated regime of Politics, Religion, and Economics, humanity will, by and large, reject God, His ways, and His Word. These times will witness an intense sifting and separating both socially and spiritually, in an atmosphere that is steeped in disillusionment. Global movements and supernational structures will continue to accumulate power through behind-the-scenes orchestration of grassroots-type movements, aiming at saturation propaganda and social pressure. Every effort will be made to bypass national boundaries, with elected governments portrayed as obstacles holding on to a bygone era of national sovereignty. Authoritarian measures will increase, and the elements of a massive compliance superstructure will be planned, deployed, and implemented. There will be resistance. But either before, during, or in the aftermath of WWIII, new radical changes will be presented and accepted as humanity’s last hope, especially as world power is once again consolidated in Europe upon the rekindled embers of Roman dominion.
From the European continent or greater region, a coalition of 10 “kings” will be formed who establish the platform from which the “little horn” will arise. This is the prophesied “Antichrist” who, when he later attains full power, will be “given authority to continue for forty-two months” (3.5 years). In the meantime, focus will shift to Israel, and this man will confirm (perhaps behind the scenes) “the covenant” establishing Israel’s Abrahamic connection to the promised land. Doubtless some compromise on the contentious issues of borders, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount will be involved, but irrespective of what form it takes, this confirmation will initiate a prophesied 7-year countdown – a lit fuse – towards Armageddon.
By the mid-point of 3.5 years into this 7-year countdown, a much-anticipated new temple will be completed on the Temple Mount. Traditional temple rituals and worship will resume, including animal sacrifices, but will then be halted by the Antichrist, who will establish himself in the Jewish temple (perhaps at its dedication). He will in fact “declare himself to be God”. This great offence, referred to as the “abomination of desolation”, will initiate the final 3.5-year period called the “great tribulation”. In these days there will be a level of persecution such as the world has never known, starting with those who live in Judea but expanding globally against the Jewish people and those who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ.
A consortium of religious partnerships will sponsor political movements directed by the “mother of harlots” and her supposedly Christian daughters who propagate the authority of Rome. The “false prophet” will ultimately compel allegiance through a comprehensive economic compliance regime under which “no one may buy or sell” unless they bow the knee, “worship”, and accept their “mark”. Such a change won’t happen overnight, as one can imagine; there will be a progression towards the system in its mature form. But everyday life will become increasingly more difficult as the screws turn inexorably towards absolute submission. Nevertheless, there will be resistance.
The highway to Armageddon has many signposts, each serving as a warning and a herald that God’s kingdom is not indefinitely postponed but drawing near quickly and in real time. Every milestone reached and fulfilled speaks of God’s foreknowledge and His incredible promises to come. Finally, at the culmination of God’s prophetic countdown, the kings of the earth will be gathered together in the northern plains of Israel, at Armageddon, on their crusade to conquer God’s chosen dwelling place of Zion and the city of His covenant, Jerusalem. And then He shall appear, and the earth will tremble.
